In the Declaration of Independence we read, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”  But what do these words mean?  Many people have interpreted them as “to do what they want.”  The question for each of us this morning is, because you have been given life by our Creator, because you are “free to pursue many things,”  what are you pursuing?
