I’m sure you have heard the phrase, “Playing with fire.” It usually means doing something dangerous that could cause great harm for them or cause many problems. In our Gospel for today the wise virgins lit their torches and were playing with fire in a positive way. The foolish virgins played with fire in a very foolish way, they were playing a dangerous game. We read about two very different kinds of playing with fire. The lesson for us all is to have our torches lit and ready for when the Bridegroom Jesus comes back again.
