The Parable of the Father’s Love
In the parable of the prodigal son, we can find ourselves: as the wayward son, the self-righteous son, or the grumbling Pharisees. But we could also call it the parable of the Father’s love—in the giving and forgiving Father, who receives the lost son and feasts with him now that he is found. Because of our loving Father, like the son, we too have been found and now feast with Him all through the cross of Christ.
