A discussion that takes place on a regular basis in the world of sports is centered on the acronym G.O.A.T., which stands for the Greatest Of All Time. People are obsessed debating who is the greatest.  In the Gospel for today the usual criteria for greatness is radically challenged by Jesus.  The world defines greatness by how much a person has achieved or how much a person has or how famous a person is.  In the Gospel for today Jesus tells His disciples, and us, how God sees true greatness.
